My love for photography started way back in 2002 when I bought my very first camera, an Analogue Kodak Camera, at just R79.00 and a roll of film for R25.00. As expected, my first images were extremely bad, with the film having out of focus and unclear images, but with much needed practice and a whole lot of wasted film, I finally got the hang of it and excelled. I started taking portraits within my village and selling them for just R5, but as time went by it became less and less about the money and more about the fascination of capturing a moment, be it a happy or sad one, but just the ability of pressing a button and capturing that moment made me fall in love with this form of art. I then started the journey to the big city, from the dusty, unknown little village in Venda, Limpopo, I arrived in Pretoria determined to be this big-time photographer… To cut the story short, today I own FT Fotography, I opened the FT Fotography Studio in Melrose North in 2012 and closed it down in 2014, as I felt that I needed to be out there and as of now I focus more on location shoots and house calls for family portraits and modeling; maybe one day I will reopen the studio.

I, as a photographer, believe that “a picture is worth more than a thousand words” and therefore I try virtually anything and everything to tell a story with my photography, same goes to how I edit, design and package the images I’ve taken. My images are of classy, timeless, quality nature, deep thought and care is taken before I press the button. My burning desire for excellence ensures great, clear and quality looking images at all times. My events, weddings, parties etc bookings are not limited to time or hourly rates, which makes my fee affordable. The good relationships I have with all my clients have kept them coming back or referring me to people in need of my services, this shows that FT Fotography will keep on growing and leading the pack in photography. WEDDINGS: A Non-refundable booking deposit of 50% of the total quotation is payable to secure your date in advance. In the unfortunate event that your wedding is canceled or another date is chosen by the client that we cannot accommodate in our schedule, the said deposit will be forfeited to recover any financial losses incurred by us.

ON LOCATION PHOTOSHOOT BOOKINGS: The full amount on the quotation is payable in advance to secure your date and time and is non-refundable. Should you cancel the said appointment, or another date is chosen by the client that we cannot accommodate in our schedule, the said paid money will be forfeited to recover any financial losses incurred by us.

Travelling Costs:
All packages include 25 kms of travelling in and around Midrand area. Any travelling beyond the 25 kms radius caries a fee of R3.50 per km plus Toll fees (if applicable). Any event that require more than 2 hours (150 kms) of travelling will be subject to an overnight accommodation fee of up to R550.00 / person per night that needs to be paid in advance, unless the client can provide suitable accommodation.

Final Payment Due:
WEDDINGS: 1 (one) week prior to the wedding date. No wedding will be undertaken if the full amount / balance is not paid. All extras ordered / extra time spent at the wedding venue at the client’s request, are payable on receiving your invoice, before post production can start on these extras.
ON LOCATION PHOTOSHOOTS: Payable in advance on booking. All extras ordered after a Photoshoot On Location, are payable on receiving your invoice, before post production can start on these extras.
ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN ASSIGNMENTS: A 50% Booking deposit is payable in advance. The balance is due on the date that we deliver the final product to the client. Please take note that no product will be supplied to the client unless fully paid for.

Type of Photos Taken:
A mix of traditional, natural, fun and creative pictures. We also welcome any input from the client regarding desired photo specifics as well as content. This said, we humbly request that friends / family also wishing to take pictures do not interfere with our setup and way of operating. They are welcome to take pictures, as long as they don’t prevent us from getting the perfect shot.

Ownership of Photographs:
A backup is kept of all photos taken. All pictures taken will be supplied on a good quality CD or DVD disc in high resolution for printing purposes, as well as medium resolution for e mailing & Facebook, which the client may use as deemed fit. FT Fotography retains the right to use any material for advertising and promotional purposes, unless stipulated otherwise in writing by FT Fotography.

Finalization Period:
Depending on the selected package, the final product may take from 7 to 10 working days to complete. Photo Albums can take up to 8 weeks to complete. Once post production is completed, you will be contacted to collect your order. We generally do not do deliveries, although this can be arranged via registered mail or courier – the costs to be for your account payable in advance.
